The last couple days

Yesterday my new bedframe was finally delivered. I haven't ever had a bed frame. It looks really good. My room is really small, a little too small but I don't care it is the first piece of real furniture that I have actually owned. Last night was the first night that I got to sleep in my room downstairs. I can't wait to finish cleaning up the rest of the basement. I will make sure to post pictures with the progress. I wish I had taken before pictures so I could take after pictures as proof of improvement.
I have spent this whole weekend with my little brothers, Chase and Connor. They are quite the handful. It is exhausting running after kids all day, I don't know how mothers do it. I certainly don't think that I could handle it for longer than 3 days. People always say that when it is your own kids then it is different. I now have much more respect for all mothers.

  1. This is the basement of your house on Windsor Way- right? I can't wait to see pics. Is the whole basement yours?
By bed-frame, do you mean a metal frame or a REAL bed-frame (still don't own one of those)? You're a lucky girl to own a bed-frame at such a young age (for a Harward).
Seriously post pictures of all your hard work.
And yes, it is VERY different when you're chasing your own kids; still exhausting but no longer WORK. You don't even realize it's work cuz you love it so much.

  2. PS i love that you're trying so diligently to keep your blog updated. I know it seems like you have nothing to post sometimes, but it's so fun to keep up with your life. I look forward to reading about your life; it's so different than mine and fun to read. Keep it up.

  3. Perspective is always so FUNNY!! Being a Harward, not many of us experienced a mattress ON a metal frame of any sort until we probably got married and moved out of the house. My kids have mattresses on frames with wooden headboards.........and they think it would be the "coolest" thing to just put their mattress on the floor like Grandma Nevada has hers.
